  What is music and why is music important?
  First off, music is a form of art, an expression of the soul, a harnessing of the whispers of pure and raw emotion. To me music has the power to heal, create, destroy or rebuild. It is one of the strongest connections that can be made. The process of making music is the expression of ones soul, it is a spiritual medium that examines poignant complexities and unfolds the creative power that each individual can harness.

  Why is music education and audio engineering education important
  Music education is the medium of exploration; where an individual learns to harness the magic that exists; when molecules are excited in a harmonic and rhythmic fashion that excites the roots of the soul. I feel strongly that exposure to this type of education is critical to society.
